The locking of this design enables the user to lock the trigger on the handle in the desired position. Three different lock settings are possible. This allows the user to concentrate more on bringing the object in than on holding the trigger.

Application
Three locking functions:
Standard function: The lock can be determined with the thumb or hand. It is only operated after the correct grasp and holding of an object.
Grab-hold function: With this setting, the pincer head automatically stops after the trigger has been actuated. This is good for people with limited dexterity who cannot operate the lock at the same time when gripping.
Fine-tuned gripping: With this setting, the gripping head is locked in a half-closed position, which restricts the range of motion of the gripping lips. This makes it possible to access smaller objects more precisely or to grip objects in a confined space, e.g. From a narrow gap.
